Excitement - Crypto Surfer v1For those of us who need more excitement in our crypto journey besides just HODL, here’s a simple crypto robot that trades on the hourly (1H) candles. MACD oscillator with EMA strategy 4H This is a simple, yet efficient strategy, which is made from a combination of an oscillator and a moving average. Its setup for 4h candles with the current settings, however it can be adapted to other different timeframes. It works nicely ,beating the buy and hold for both BTC and ETH over the last 3 years. Bollinger Bands Trending Reverse StrategyWelcome to yet another script. This script was a lot easier since I was stuck for so long on the Donchian Channels one and learned so much from that one that I could use in this one. This code should be a lot cleaner compared to the Donchian Channels, but we'll leave that up to the pro's. This strategy has two entry signals, long = when price hits lower band, while above EMA, previous candle was bearish and current candle is bullish. Short = when price hits upper band, while below EMA, previous candle was bullish and current candle is bearish. Take profits are the opposite side's band(lower band for long signals, upper band for short signals). This means our take profit price will change per bar. Our stop loss doesn't change, it's the difference between entry price and the take profit target divided by the input risk reward.

Donchian Channels Trending Breakout StrategyThis script looks for two entry signals. Long is when the previous breakout of the donchian channels was a low, price is above the input EMA, current price is equal or higher than the upper band and we're not in a position yet. Short is the other way around, so previous breakout of the donchian channels was a high, price is below the input EMA, current price is equal or lower than the lower band. I haven't found a script that does take the previous highs and lows into consideration. Works for any markets in any conditions because the stop loss and profit targets are based on the upper and lower band of the donchian channels, which means the stop loss and profit targets move with the trend. For more details see the script itself, I wrote a ton of comments.

MACD Crossover trend strategy, Long and ShortHey everybody, This is my first strategy and script I wrote mostly myself. There's tons of content out there to learn how to code in Pinescript and it's exactly what I wanted and needed in this time of my life. In any case, I made a rather simple MACD crossover strategy that only takes trades in the direction of both EMA and SMA (there are inputs to change the length of the moving averages and lots of other stuff too). If the MACD line crosses upwards on the signal line, while above the zero point of the histogram and the price is above EMA + SMA , it's a long signal. If the MACD line cosses downards on the signal line, while below zero on the histogram and the price is below EMA + SMA , it's a short signal. There are a lot of default variables that make no sense, for basically any symbol you're going to be looking at. You're going to have to adjust the EMA , SMA , backtest date, take profit, stop loss and all that good stuff yourself to find decently profitable parameters. I made this myself because I couldn't really find a strategy out there that allowed for so much customizing and it's an easy way to get started in Pinescript. If you have any suggestions, tips or you see a flatout mistake in my code, please let me know. I'm still learning, everyday and I'm enjoying every second of it.

Triple EMA StrategyThis is my first ever script so any suggestions, recommendations or improvement ideas welcome! This strategy is an implementation of a standard three exponential moving averages strategy (defaults: EMA1=5, EMA2=20 and EMA3=50 candles). Trades are executed if EMA1 crosses above/below EMA2 and they are both above/below EMA3. In addition, the close of the current candle must be above/below the previous one by at least the number of ticks you specify in the "buffer" parameter (default 150 ticks). This additional check eliminates many bad trades. There is also a trailing stoploss which comes into play once the price has gone above/below its initial value which it then follows the price with to ensure the trade closes at the highest possible price. I find this strategy works best on a 15 minute chart but feel free to play around and fine tune the various parameters. If you find a good setup that returns decent profits, I'd be keen to hear it!

Scalping using RSI 2 indicator with TSLThis strategy implements a simply scalping using the RSI (calculated on two periods), the slopes of two MAs ( EMA or SMA ) having different lengths (by default, I use 50 and 200). There's also an optional Volatility filter, which opens the position only if the difference between the two slopes is more than a specific value, which can be set in the study inputs. The purpose is not opening positions if the price goes sideways and the noise is way > than the signal. Equal-Length EMA/SMA Crossover Momentum StrategyOverview: This momentum and trend-following strategy captures the majority of any trending move, and works well on high timeframes. It uses an equal-period EMA and SMA crossover to detect trend acceleration/deceleration, since an EMA places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data. This version is optimized for longs, and designed to cut your losses quickly and let your winners run. To reduce noise and optimize entries, we combined this with an overall trend bias for further confluence. How it works: Signals are determined by the crossover of an EMA and SMA of the same length, e.g. EMA-50 and SMA-50. The overall trend bias is determined using a slower SMA golden/death cross, e.g. SMA-50 and SMA-100. The signal is stronger when it occurs in confluence with the overall trend bias, e.g. when EMA-50 crosses over SMA-50, while above the SMA-100. This is analogous to only opening long positions in a bull market. Signal description: Trend Buy: EMA crosses above SMA, and overall trend bias is bullish. Buying is in confluence with the overall trend bias. Risky Buy: EMA crosses above SMA, and overall trend bias is bearish. Double EMA CROSS Double EMA CROSS (DEC) Useful for identifying and receiving alerts about uptrends and downtrends. This script uses two Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) to find price uptrends and downtrends. An Exponential Moving Average ( EMA ) is a type of moving average that places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data points. The script produces uptrend and downtrend signals based on crossovers and divergences between the two EMAs, the user will be able to spot a trend change (when the EMAs crossover) and to determine the strength of the current trend (when the EMAs diverge). It is also posible to get alerts for uptrends and downtrends on the web and mobile app with sound and pop-ups as well as via email. The optimal time to enter and exit the market can be concluded from this trend changes. The user can set their own EMAs, by default they are set to 25 and 75 periods for medium and long term respectively. When the medium term EMA crosses below the long term EMA the asset is in a downtrend and the price will decline, and when the medium term EMA crosses above the long term EMA the asset is in an uptrend and price will increase. This scripts plots the following indicators and signals on the chart to help the user to identify trends: 1.- Medium and long term EMAs as lines overlaid on the price chart. 2.- Up green triangles above bars when the price is on an uptrend and down red triangles below bars when the price is on a downtrend. 3.- Arrows with text to indicate the start of an uptrend or downtrend. The user can enable and disable the indicators and signals as well as set colors and shapes to their liking. This script also lets the user create alerts for uptrends and downtrends. To create a new alert using this script follow this instructions: 1.- Once you added this script to your chart, go to the alerts panel (right on web or bottom tool bar on the mobile app) and add a new alert (alarm clock icon with a plus sign). 2.- A modal window will open. On the “Condition” dropdown menu select “DEC”. 3.- On the next dropdown menu (right below the “Condition” one) you can select. 4.- Lastly you can set all the normal alert options and create the alert.

EMA Crossover StrategyMoving average crossover systems measure drift in the market. They are great strategies for time-limited people. So, why don't more people use them? I think it's due to poor choice in choosing EMA lengths: Market Wizard Ed Seykota has a guideline for moving average crossovers: the slow line should be at least 3x the fast line. This removes a lot of the whipsaws inherent in moving average systems, which means greater profitability. His other piece of advice: long-only strategies are best in stock markets where there's a lot more upside potential. Using these simple rules, we can reduce a lot of the whipsaws and low profitability trades! This strategy was made so you can see for yourself before trading. === HOW TO USE THIS INDICATOR === 1) Choose your market and timeframe. 2) Choose the length. 3) Choose the multiplier. 4) Choose if the strategy is long-only or bidirectional. Don't overthink the above! We don't know the best answers, that's why this strategy exists! We're going to test and find out. After you find a good combination, set up an alert system with the default Exponential Moving Average indicators provided by TradingView. === TIPS === Increase the multiplier to reduce whipsaws (back and forth trades). MavilimW Strategy MTF EMA with HA CandlesThis is a strategy adapted initially for Mavilim moving average indicator, based on WMA MA. It seems to works amazingly on long term markets, like stocks, some futures, some comodities and so on. In this strategy, I form initially the candle, using EMA values, so I take the EMA of last 50 closes, open, highs and lows and form the candle After this I take interally HA and convert the EMA candle to HA. Then using the moving averages on multiple timeframes, like in this example we have a chart on 4h, but I use 1h and 1d moving averages. For long condition we have : close is above moving average timeframe1 and oving average timeframe2 and oving average timeframe3 Initially short would be close below ma timeframe1, ma timeframe2 and timeframe3 -> but here I also convert it into a long signal. So we actually go only long . And we have 2 different exits : for first long if we have a crossdown of 1h ma with 1 day ma, and for second long if we have a cross up of 1h ma with 1 day ma in this example. Crypto MultiTrend multi timeframesHello, today I bring you another crypto strategy which can work with multiple timeframes and most of crypto currencies Its made entirelly of multiple EMA , of different lengths : like super fast, fast, normal, slow and very slow We also combine a little bit of price action together with the trend direction both for entry and for exits, to have a more precise control. The rules for long close is above all EMA's, they are in ascending order and the at same time close is bigger than the previous high, and previous high > second previous high, close > 3rd previous high , close > 4th previous high, close > 5th previous high, 5th high > 6th high. For short we have the same, but instead of high, we use lows, and instead of > we use < . As exit we have 2 conditions for long and 2 for short To exit long we have : super fast ema < fast ema and fast ema < normal and normal < slow ema. For short, they would be the opposite, using > sign. The second exit for long is when our current low crosses below 4 of ours EMA during the same candle. For short, is when the high crosses above 4 of ours EMA during the same candle. CAUTIOUS : Currently it uses not risk management system, so in this current condition is extremely risky . Crypto BOT lower timeframesThis is a crypto bot designed for lower time frames. Its made of 2 EMA, one fast and one slower . They are combined together with Stochastic, MACD and price action patterns. For entries we have multiple conditions : First we check if one of our last 4 closed candles crossed above or below the faster EMA. After that for long, we check that last close is above the fast EMA, that the fast ema is above the slower EMA, at the same time that the histogram from MACD is positive and that we have crossover with the oversold line on stochastic. For the short , the opposite of long. For exit we have TP/SL mechanic based on price % movement, in this example if the price moved 10% from the initial position it will exit.

BTC and ETH Long strategy - version 2I wrote my first article in May 2020. See below BTC and ETH Long strategy - version1 After 6 months, it is now time to check the result of my script for the last 6 months. XBTUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +78% in 4 trades ETHXBT (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +21% in 9 trades ETHUSD (4H): 14/05/2020 --> 22/11/2020 = +90% in 6 trades Using the signals from this strategy to trade manually has shown that this was a bit frustrating because of the low rate of winning trades. If you have to enter 100 trades and see 75% of them failing and 25% winning, this is frustrating. For sure the strategy makes good money but it is difficult to hold this mentality. So, I have reviewed and modified it to get a higher winning rate. After few days of work, tests and validation, I managed to get a wining rate close to 60%. The key element was also to decrease the number of trades by using a higher time frame. (4H candles instead of 2H candles). - Entry in position is based on MACD, EMA (20), SMA (100), SMA (200) moving up AND EMA (20) > SMA (100) AND SMA (100) > SMA (200) - Exit the position if: Stoploss is reached OR EMA (20) crossUnder SMA (100) The goal of this new script is to be able to follow the signals manually and only make few trades per years. I have also validated it against some other altcoins where some are giving very good results. Here are some results for 2020 (from 01/01/2020 until now (22/11/2020). Those results are the one I get when using 4H candles. ETH/USD: +144% in 8 trades. BTC/USD: +120% in 7 trades. ETH/BTC: +33% in 9 trades. ICX/USD: +123% in 10 trades. LINK/USD: +155% in 11 trades. MLN/USD: +388% in 8 trades. ADA/USD: +180% in 7 trades. LINK/BTC: +97% in 10 trades. The best is that above results are without considering compound effect. If you re-invest all gains done in each new trade, this will give you the below results :) ETH/USD: +189% in 8 trades. BTC/USD: +260% in 7 trades. ETH/BTC: +29% in 9 trades. ICX/USD: +112% in 10 trades. LINK/USD: +222% in 11 trades. MLN/USD: +793% in 8 trades. ADA/USD: +319% in 7 trades. LINK/BTC: +103% in 10 trades. As you can see, the results are good and the number of trades for 11 months is not big, which allows the trader to place orders manually. Zignaly TutorialThis strategy serves as a beginner's guide to connect TradingView signals to Zignaly Crypto Trading Platform. It was originally tested at BTCUSDT pair and 1D timeframe. Before using this documentation it's recommended that you: Use default TradingView strategy script or another script and setup its associated alert manually. Just make the alert pop-up in the screen. Create a 'Copy-Trader provider' (or Signal Provider) in Zignaly and send signals to it either thanks to your browser or with some basic programming. SETTINGS __ SETTINGS - Capital (CAPITAL) Capital quote invested per order in USDT units {100.0}. This setting is only used when '(ZIG) Provider type' is set to 'Signal Provider'. (CAPITAL) Capital percentage invested per order (%) {25.0}. This setting is only used when '(ZIG) Provider type' is set to 'Copy Trader Provider'. __ SETTINGS - Misc (ZIG) Enable Alert message {True}: Whether to enable alert message or not. (DEBUG) Enable debug on order comments {True}: Whether to show alerts on order comments or not. Number of decimal digits for Prices {2}. (DECIMAL) Maximum number of decimal for contracts {3}. __ SETTINGS - Zignaly (ZIG) Integration type {TradingView only}: Hybrid : Both TradingView and Zignaly handle take profit, trailing stops and stop losses. Useful if you are scared about TradingView not firing an alert. It might arise problems if TradingView and Zignaly get out of sync. TradingView only : TradingView sends entry and exit orders to Zignaly so that Zignaly only buys or sells. Zignaly won't handle stop loss or other settings on its own. (ZIG) Zignaly Alert Type {WebHook}: 'Email' or 'WebHook'. (ZIG) Provider type {Copy Trader Provider}: 'Copy Trader Provider' or 'Signal Provider'. 'Copy Trader Provider' sends a percentage to manage. Confirm your own the email address Create a rule in your Hotmail account that 'Redirects' (not forwards) emails to 'signals @ zignaly . email' when (1): 'Subject' includes 'Alert', (2): 'Email body' contains string 'MYZIGNALYREDIRECTTRIGGER' and (3): 'From' contains 'noreply @ tradingview . com'.
