The market seems to be in a calm state, with nothing yet able to hinder the strength of the USD and the US bond yields. The current environment remains unfavorable for gold prices.

On the chart, the downward trend has been broken. Today, gold is likely to trade within a narrow price range, fluctuating around $1833 - $1816.
