Discovery (DISCA) said Friday it received stockholder approval for its proposed acquisition of WarnerMedia from AT&T (T).

The company expects to close the deal early in Q2.

The deal will combine WarnerMedia's entertainment, sports and news assets with Discovery's nonfiction and international entertainment and sports businesses. The new company will be called Warner Bros. Discovery.
