Re7 Capital and Republic Crypto launched a $100 million fund to invest in liquid tokens on April 1. The fund, called the RxR Opportunity Fund, provides qualified investors with access to a carefully selected set of crypto tokens, focusing on those with mid-capitalization.
The fund has a one-year lock-in period and then unlocks liquidity on a quarterly basis, said Evgeny Gokhberg, founder of Re7 Capital, adding that we are focused on building a position and looking to hold it for one to three years. Fifteen percent of the fund can be put into private transactions such as OTC trading at a significant discount.
