Volume ROC and 2nd Derivative by ianhThe purpose of this code is to graph a volume simple moving average (sma) and it's first and second derivatives to provide traders with additional information that might determine if volume is converging or diverging with price. The yellow line represents the volume sma, the red line represents the first derivative or the rate of change of the volume and the green line represents the second derivative or acceleration of volume. For long term trading, if the yellow line is "trending" upwards with higher highs and higher lows it means that volume is supporting the over all long term price trend. If the volume is decreasing over the long term then it is not supporting the current price trend. The first and second derivatives may help short term weekly traders confirm price movements. There are several different conditions to look for:
First (Red) ++ Second (Green) --, Trading volume at the current price has "peaked" and the price may reverse soon.
First (Red) -- Second (Green) ++, Trading volume at the current price has "troughed" and the price may reverse soon.
First (Red) + Second (Green) +, Trading volume is not only increasing but it's accelerating which might confirm a large price movement.
First (Red) - Second (Green) -, Trading volume is not only decreasing but it's decelerating which might indicate little to no price movement.
Mind the GAP! (Automatic Intraday GAP Overnight) | by Octopu$🤏 Mind the GAP! (Automatic Intraday GAP Overnight) | by Octopu$
Gaps are areas on a chart where the price of a stock moves sharply up or down, with little or no trading in between.
When it happens overnight (not considering Extended Hours), it is just considered as Price Level, for possible revisit.
A Gap is defined when the Open current Candle is Higher or Lower than the Close of the Last Candle:
When the Open of the current Candle is Higher than the Close of the Last Candle it is considered a Gap UP;
When the Open of the current Candle is Lower than the Close of the Last Candle it is considered a Gap DOWN;
Something interesting about Gap is that:
1. The Price Action can travel fast between these levels (Volatility);
2. One (or both) of these levels (Hi/Lo) can act as Support (or Breakout);
3. One (or both) of these levels (Hi/Lo) can act as Resistance (or Breakout).
This Indicator includes these Gaps added Automatically to your Chart.
It is also built-in with a Shadow between the lines for easy visualization.
Colors are also customizable and the Lines are also editable according t your preferences.

Auto Linear Trend Target x16Experienced traders always tell us that “Never trade against the trend.” or “Trend is our friend.”. Yes sure, no one wants to trade against the trend. However, there are a lot of trends with different types and cycles, then which trend to follow, which trend they are mentioning? This tool (also known as ALTT x16, Laser Net x16) will support us in identifying different linear trends with different cycles. Nearest history-based targets are also added for our convenience of completeness.
Markets: All.
Timeframes: All. Recommendation: 30m and above.
Periods: Up to 16.
Usage: The higher period of a trend, the more strength it has. Enter when price breakouts a trend line and exit at the nearest trend line and target.
Gap FinderThe Gap Finder Indicator will allow you to quickly identify gaps on the chart. Gaps in this indicator are defined as the "black space" between candles with the space being as small as $0.01. A gap up is one where the previous candle's high is lower than the current candle's low. A gap down is one where the previous candle's low is higher than the current candle's high.
Features:
Highlight Gap Area will show the price levels for the last found gap.
Show Last Only - will show only the last gap to help declutter the chart.
Basic guidelines for Gap trading:
Wait 3-5 Periods to allow the momentum to settle
Take trade on reversal candle with stop above recent high
Exit for profit when the gap fills.
This indicator will work for all timeframes using the definitions above so good for day traders, swing traders and any other style of trader using gaps in their strategy.

Psychological levels (Bank levels) PsychoLevels v2 - TartigradiaPsychological levels (Bank levels) plots "round" price levels above and below current price, by truncating after the nth leftmost digits, based on neuroscience research of how humans intuitively calculate in logarithms.
Psychological levels, also called bank levels, are "round" price numbers around which price often experience resistance or support, because traders and investors tend to set orders around these round numbers.
Calculation here is fully automatic and dynamic, contrary to other similar scripts, this one uses a mathematical calculation that extracts the 1, 2 or 3 leftmost digits and calculate the previous and next level by incrementing/decrementing these digits. This means it works for any symbol under any price range.
This approach is based on neuroscience research, which found that human brains intuitively approximate numbers on a logarithmic scale, adults and children alike, and similarly to macaques, for more info see Numerical Cognition , Weber-Fechner Law , Zipf law.
For example, if price is at 0.0421, the next major price level is 0.05 and medium one is 0.043. For another asset currently priced at 19354, the next and previous major price levels are 20000 and 10000 respectively, and the next/previous medium levels are 20000 and 19000, and the next/previous weak levels are 19400 and 19300.
Usage:
* By default, strong upper level is in green, strong lower level is in red, medium upper level is in blue, medium lower level is in yellow, and weak levels aren't displayed but can be. Half levels are also displayed, in a darker color. Strong levels are increments of the first leftmost digit (eg, 10000 to 20000), medium levels are increments of the second leftmost digit (eg, 19000 to 20000), and weak levels of the third leftmost digit (eg, 19100 to 19200). Instead of plotting all the psychological levels all at once as a grid, which makes the chart unintelligible, here the levels adapt dynamically around the current price, so that they show the upper/lower levels relatively to the current price.
* A simple moving average is implemented, so that "half-levels" are also displayed when relevant (eg, medium level can also display 19500 instead of only 19000 or 20000). This can be disabled by setting smoothing to 1.
* By default, the script runs on the daily timeframe, whatever the current chart's timeframe is. This is to reduce the variability in levels, to make it less noisy than intraday price movement, but this can be changed in the settings.
* The step can be adjusted to increase the gap between levels, eg, if you want to display one every 2 levels then input step = 2 (eg, 22000, 24000, 26000, etc), or if you want to display quarter levels, input 0.25 (eg, 22000, 22250, 22500, etc). The default values should fit most use cases and cover most psychological levels.
I made this script mainly to train with PineScript, but I found it surprisingly accurate to define levels that are respected by price movements. So I guess it can be useful for new traders and experienced traders alike, as it's easy to forget that psychological levels can often be as strong if not stronger than technical levels. It can also be used to quickly screen other minor assets for trading opportunities. For example, a hybrid strategy would be to manually define levels on BTCUSD but using this script to automatically define levels in crypto altcoins and quickly screen them for a trade opportunity that can be greater than with BTCUSD but with the same trend.
Changes compared to v1:
* Deduplicated redundant calculations and hence faster script.
* Added half-step levels, which allows to more easily see breakouts (because the levels are still on-screen).
* All steps are now configuration on the GUI.
* Revamped color scheme.
* And major reasons to post as a separate v2 script rather than updating: because we can't update the original description nor screenshot. I have now read more about the House Rules and saw other scriptmakers, so I am trying to write better descriptions like wizards do, by explaining not only how the script works but what the underlying financial concept is to a neophyte audience.

Also includes options of:
Yearly Open, Yearly High, Yearly Low, Monday High, Monday Low.
You can customize where you want to see the value through the options of:
On the chart, On the price scale, Both, None.
This indicator does not serve the purpose of being independently used as a trade decider. It use to be used as a source of adding confluence to your setups just like we use Finocchi retracements.
Automated MSB OTE Fibs and Premium DiscountOTE means optimal trade entry and can give the best price point to enter a trade at lower time frames. This indicator automatically draws these OTE levels and the premium /discount of the range, following a market structure break or MSB.
It does this by finding a pivot, checking if it has been broken by a candle body, then drawing a line for that MSB.
The premium /discount range and fib levels are taken from the high/low before and after the MSB, with the most recent MSB being used.
What is particularly great is that the levels and boxes move in realtime, so there is never any need to redraw things manually, drawing is fully automated and updates with every change in price or MSBs.
Settings:
Left and Right bars for Pivot - this determines the strength of the pivot that has been broken. The stronger the pivot, the stronger the MSB.
Max Lookback - How far to look back for MSBs.
Various aesthetic options to show bullish / bearish MSBs independently, as well as colour and line settings for the MSB, Fibs and Premium/Discount.
Auto Fibonacci Levels + Auto Trend Line generatorAnother indicator for you guys!!!
This indicator consists of the 5 key Fibonacci retracement levels, plotted automatically to user input settings. I also have included an auto support/resistance trend line generator.
What is a Fibonacci retracement?
'Fibonacci retracement is a method of technical analysis for determining support and resistance levels. It is named after the Fibonacci sequence of numbers, whose ratios provide price levels to which markets tend to retrace a portion of a move before a trend continues in the original direction.' - Wikipedia
How to use the Fibonacci retracement?
- The Fibonacci levels are default. These percentiles from price to the average of the high in a sample and low in a sample give you a guideline of where a bottom may be, where a top may be, and where a range is being created.
- Look for the price to reject from 61.8% and 76.4%, and also look for price to bounce from 38.2% and 23.6%. If a lower low/higher high is made, the fib levels will follow and the percentiles within will be recalculated after a 5 candle offset period.
- If you see price trending towards the lower percentiles (38&23) and using the 50% as resistance, look for a break downwards and vice versa.
-This Fibonacci set as all others is subject to fake-out, always use this with another series indicator, or don't use it as a signal for entry at all (unless you have a backdated strategy)
How to use the trend line generator?
-The trend line generator will only plot when a lower low/higher high has taken place within the input amount of candles. It is also offset by a user amount.
-The check box will give the option to have the trend line's plot or not.
- If you see a green/red dot it means that that will be your first coordinate for the trend line, and until the computations are complete it will give you an idea of which direction it will be in (resistance or support)
-When opening this indicator zoom out all the way to connect any trend lines that do not load automatically.
Let me know if you have any questions, suggestions or issues! Thank you everyone!

3Commas dollar cost averaging (DCA) QFL IndicatorAs investors, we often face the dilemma of willing high stock prices when we sell, but not when we buy. There are times when this dilemma causes investors to wait for a dip in prices, thereby potentially missing out on a continual rise. This is how investors get lured away from the markets and become tangled in the slippery slope of market timing, which is not advisable to a long-term investment strategy.
Skyrex developed a complex indicator based on dollar-cost averaging in Quick Fingers Luc's interpretation. It is a combinations of strategies which allows to systematically accumulate assets by investing scaled amounts of money at defined market cycle global support levels. Dollar-cost averaging can reduce the overall impact of price volatility and lower the average cost per asset thus even during market slumps only a small bounce is required to reach take profit.
The indicator script monitors a chart price action and identifies bases as they form. When bases are reached the script provides entry alerts. During price action development an asset value can go lower and in this way the script will perform safety entries alerts at each subsequent accumulation levels. When weighted average entry price reaches target profit the script will perform a take profit action alert.
Bases are identified as pivot lows in a fractal pattern and validated by an adjustable decrease/rise percentage to ensure significancy of identified bases. To qualify a pivot low, the indicator will perform the following validation:
Validate the price rate of change on drops and bounces is above a given threshold amount.
Validate the volume at the low pivot point is above the volume moving average (using a given length).
Validate the volume amount is a given factor of magnitude above is above the volume moving average.
Validate the potential new base is not too close to the previous range by using a given price percent difference threshold amount.
A fractal pattern is a recurring pattern on a price chart that can predict reversals among larger, more chaotic price movements. These basic fractals are composed of five or more bars. The rules for identifying fractals are as follows:
A bearish turning point occurs when there is a pattern with the highest high in the middle and two lower highs on each side.
A bullish turning point occurs when there is a pattern with the lowest low in the middle and two higher lows on each side.
Basic dollar-cost averaging approach is enhances by implementation of adjustable accumulation levels in order to provide opportunity of setting them at defined global support levels and Martingale volume coefficient to increase averaging effect. According to Quick Fingers Luc's principles trading principles we added volume validation of a base because it allows to confirm that the market is resistant to further price decrease.
The indicator supports traditional and cryptocurrency spot, futures , options and marginal trading exchanges. It works accurately with BTC , USD, USDT, ETH and BNB quote currencies. Best to use with 1H timeframe charts and limit orders. The indicator can be and should be configured for each particular asset according to its global support and resistance levels and price action cycles. You can modify levels and risk management settings to receive better performance
The difference between core script and this interpretation is that this strategy is specially designed for 3Commas bots
How to use?
1. Apply indicator to a trading pair your are interested in using 1H timeframe chart
2. Configure the indicator: change layer values, order size multiple and take profit/stop loss values according to current market cycle stage
3. Set up a TradingView custom alert using the indicator settings to trigger on a condition you are interested in
4. The indicator will send alerts when to enter and when to exit positions which can be applied to your portfolio using external trading platforms
5. Update settings once market conditions are changed using backtests on a monthly period

Market Structure BOS/CHOCH/MSB/FVG/OB/BB (Nephew_Sam_)This market structure indictor uses pivot points to find break of structure and change of character.
You can enable the options to find Fair Value Gaps, Breaker Blocks and Orderblocks too. The way this works is, once a bos/choch is found, it will loop back and find all fvg/ob/bb from that point until the previous pivot point.
Settings
Pivot strength - How many candles to the left/right requried to determine a swing high
Breakout Confitmation - The breakout candle should close under the previous pivot or the wick H/L should be under
Show xyz - show HH/LL, Break of structure and change of character
FVG/OB/BB - Show, bull/bear colors, extend boxes to the right, delete boxes once filled, fill type close or H/L

- Description:
FVG (Fair Value Gap) / imbalances are inefficiencies in the price action generated by violent prices changes, the market is supposed to try to fill or at least retest these later on.
This is just one of the "Smart Money Concepts" or "Institutional trading", and there are different strategies to trade them.
Some use them as "price magnets", but in my case I use them to let orders placed on the "entry" line and take profit on the "exit" line, for both LONG or SHORT.
Others use them as reversal points (50% of the FVG), that's why I added a 50% line to each FVG, I want to make it usable for every single strategy related to FVGs.
Take your time to back test, study, and pick the best strategy for you as you'd do with any other indicator.
- Visual:
So like a "generic" FVG indicator this one also prints the FVGs, colors are customizable for both, bullish and bearish FVGs.
When a FVG is "touched" but not "filled" it changes color, which is also customizable.
As I said I use them as entry and take profit, so I added 3 lines, an entry line, midline and exit line, all have custom colors for both "untouched" and "touched" FVGs for better visualization.
- Customization:
All colors are customizable for both "untouched" and "touched" FVGs as well as their lines as well as the line style (so you can have dashed entry and exit for example but dotted midline, full customization).
You can pick to auto-delete a FVG if not filled completely but a percentage.
Entry and exit lines can be placed based on a percentage too.
Boxes for the FVGs can be extended or not.
There's an ATR (Average True Ratio) filter to ignore (don't plot) small FVGs which would only mess the chart, is custom, but default value is recommended.
- Usage and recommendations:
FVGs are supposed to work on any timeframes, i've seen traders using my strategy (placer a STOP LIMIT on the entry line and take profit on the exit line) even on 1 minute, however, if you have several FVGs you can aim to open a single position and take partial profit on each FVG.
Finally, on my back test i've seen that on 4H+ timeframes a lot of FVGs are only filled up to 50% as one of the mentioned strategies so make sure to move your stop to break even on that point or even close half or the position, just a recommendation to avoid absurd loses.
Enjoy!
