This year I will be slowly swapping a lot of my crypto into privacy based coins. All of my crypto addresses can be tracked by the various exchanges I bought the coins from.
I have 0 privacy from government. All they have to do is ask the exchange for my records and they will be able to track everything I have ever done.
I see crypto as a way to get away from government currency and government oversight.
I have been researching all of the various privacy coins, and I have a favorite.
XZC seems to be the coin that best reflects my ideals for a great crytpo.
