Gold- consolidation before 1800?

In yesterday's comment, I said that "bulls don't have power and Gold could correct". On the other hand, bears don't have power either and yesterday's result was a range/consolidation between 1730 and 1740 (more or less).
Considering strong support and reversal from 1680 and the lack of selling we can expect a break of resistance and a confirmation of the double bottom which can lead to an acceleration of gains to 1800.
