AT&T (T) shares were up about 7% in Thursday afternoon trading after Morgan Stanley upgraded the telecommunications company's stock to overweight from equal weight while lowering its price target to $28 from $32.
The investment firm said AT&T's recent stock underperformance "has created an attractive risk reward opportunity," while the firm also sees "a number of catalysts to unlock value by mid-2022."
