Even on positive news I don't see the SPX moving much upward.

There are many ways to look at the market. I've been pretty negative recently, but I tried to put a positive spin in case the market moves higher. I see the SPX starting Monday at 2873. Even with good news I don't see the SPX getting higher than 2990. In fact I think it'll first hit a wall at 2965. At this point turning over and heading south. By the end of the year we may be headed for a retest of lows.
