Gold prices consolidate after a brilliant run.

Gold vs U.S. dollar: Gold prices smashed all estimated price targets at 1491.50, 1493.80, 1497.65, and 1501.60 and broke through the top of the price channel in yesterday's session at around 1506.00. The precious metal continued its rally during the Asian session, increasing its value to approximately 1511.75. Gold price trades at 1512.63 at the time of writing and needs to remain above 1511.75 to continue to its next target at 1515.30. Support is at 1509.50 and 1506.00
