Gold market prediction May 18, 2023
The radiant world gold price now continued its downward trend with spot gold dropping by $2.50 to $1,888.9 per ounce. December gold futures last traded at $1,919.1 an ounce, down $9.2 from the previous morning. World gold continued to trade at the lowest level within 5 months as bond yields continued to increase after the minutes of the July monetary policy meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) were established.
The world spot gold price in Asia on the morning of August 18 (Vietnam time), is at 1,889 USD/oz, down 0.02% or 7 USD/oz compared to the spot gold price at version 17. /8 in the New York market. Gold futures for December delivery fell $5.20 to $1,923 an ounce.
