Took a break last week back at the charts, I think EU still wants buyside at the HTF, looking to get involved at prices below the weekly open and aim for new highs.

As this was demo anyway, there was no risk or profit at stake. continuing to manage trade as if it were live and did not get stopped out. TP 1 hit, SL moved to WO.

Price moved to HTF FVG as anticipated. was not able to participate. I think there is a possibility for a big reversal tho.

NY had other plans after taking sellside.

Interesting divergence between GU and EU. Had i taken the same trade on GU it would have played. Might switch to cable as my primary and EU for confluence when I resume live next year.

I dont trade news but perhaps the difference here is fundamental at affected GBP more relative to the euro.

Didnt get the king of expansion I was hoping for. That's alright. moving tp to sellside liquidity. or will close at market price by 4pm EST.

SL moved way into profit, will TP manually if not hit by 4:30ish EST.

TP 1 hit, remainder closed manually just shy of TP as it is 4:30PM which represents the end of my trading week.

WEEKLY RECAP

Price expressed bullish as anticipated. did not participate in buys. the more attractive executions were to the sell side during NY. Took some early sells that were stopped out.

Lessons Learned:
Wait for news and see where price is at during the news, we are interested in expansion, which is almost always done by news, look to see what the market is offering around news release.

Dont always take first high/low, market may want to take the early liq that rests below/above. I.e. session liquidity. The current session takes past liquidity, and then within that session, liquidity can be taken again on a smaller timeframe.
