EURCAD, Euro - Canadian Dollar: Falling Wedge

EURCAD
This is one of our favorite situations.
The formation of a pattern within a larger pattern.
If the falling wedge breakout occurs, a favourable trend towards EUR on CAD could start and then be confirmed by the further breakout of the ascending triangle.
Sometimes big profits can occur on these occasions.

Imagine an annual Forex situation where this happens at the end of the year:
12 Trade at a loss
8 Trade for profit
12 * -1% (allocated from the total account) = -12%.
8 * 4% (profit compared to allocated risk) = +32%.

Annual profit = approx. 20%.
Drawdown Max = -4% approx.

Would you be satisfied with an average performance of this kind?
We YES!
Mostly NO!

We let you know that the biggest traders/investors in the history of financial markets have performed with an average of 25% per year.
If you think you will outperform them we wish you good luck.

Remember one of Warren Buffett's key statements:
Markets take money away from impatients to give it to patients...

And remember another important statement by Albert Einstein:
"Compound interest is the 8th wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn't, pays it."

Happy Trading to All!
