As shown on this chart, wave 3 is rarely obvious at its inception (in addition, volume is heavy).

Wave degree:

Primary: Wave 3 (larger degree),
Intermediate: Wave 3,
minor: Wave 3,

Structures:

Wave 1 = Corrective rally,
Wave 2 = Impulsive decline,
Wave 3 = Time will show (Personally: Impulsive rally)
