Bitcoin is in a strong bull trend and is currently coiling up in a potential ascending triangle pattern. So apparently Bitmex was using Coinbase for 50% of its market index and Coinbase decided to go down for maintanence which left the index open for manipulation. This opportunity was used to run the stops on exchanges. Gotta love this market...
