SSL Hybrid Exit Arrow StrategyBasic concept: Use the SSL Hybrid indicator's EXIT ARROWS to determine trade entry and exit points.
Rules:
Enter LONG trades on BLUE exit arrows
Enter SHORT trades on RED exit arrows
Uses up to 3 DCA orders for trade entry
Sets a stop loss
Does not set any take profit. Relies on opposing arrow to exit current position
When filters are set it affects opening of positions, but opposing arrow will always exit trades regardless of filtering options set
Additional filtering configuration:
If the SSL filter checkbox is checked, then LONG positions can only be opened when SSL1 is below the baseline lower and SHORT positions can only be opened when the SSL1 is above the baseline upper
If the QQE MOD checkbox is checked, then LONG positions can only be opened when QQE MOD histogram bars are BLUE and the QQE MOD line is ABOVE 0 and SHORT positions can only be opened when the QQE MOD histogram bars are RED and the QQE MOD line is BELOW 0
Both SSL and QQE MOD filters may be combined to give stricter filtering, however I find it often prevents entry to too many good trades
SSL Hybrid StrategyStrategy based on the SSL Hybrid indicator by Mihkel00
Designed for the purpose of back testing
Strategy:
Enters both long and short trades based on SSL1 crossing the baseline
Stop Loss calculated based on ATR multiplier
Option to allow moving of Stop Loss to break even on TP1
Option to turn off Stop Loss and Take Profit which will rely on indicator flip to exit from position
Take Profits configurable with up to 5 ATR multipliers and exits percentages (percentages calculated as percentages of original position size, eg. 100 tokens with 3 TPs of 20, 30, 50 would exit the same number of tokens on each TP)

MA-SS ( EMA SSL ) Indicator StrategyThis is the strategy script relating to the already-published MA-SS Indicator Study.
Backtest properties for the strategy tester results shown below are;
- 10k initial capital
- 50% of equity
- 0.0075% commission
- zero values on everything else
The MA-SS Indicator is a simple yet effective indicator using a combination of EMAs and SSL channel, utilising higher time frame data to help confirm trend/ price direction.
How does it work?
The Indicator consists of;
- 3 x EMAs – The 3rd EMA being a filter EMA
- Multi Time Frame EMA (This is an additional filter EMA which can be switched on and off)
- Multi Time Frame SSL Channel (This acts as a filter and can also be switched on and off)
The concept initially began as a simple EMA crossing indicator, but adding an MTF EMA plus a MTF SSL channel for additional filtering, helped to give a better indication of trend and ultimately filter out several bad trades.
- EXAMPLE: If price is …
o below the MTF EMA filter
o The MTF SSL Channel is red
o White and blue EMAs cross below the yellow (filter) EMA in the red SSL channel
> …a short is fired!
- (Opposite scenario for longs)
- Your stop loss would ideally be the top/ bottom of the SSL channel (either the MTF SSL channel or a standard SSL channel added manually to the chart), or, go for a clear pivot point or support/ resistance level.
- Take profit is yours to decide but I opt for a 1:1.5 risk/reward ratio. You could also use the MTF SSL channel to gauge when you should exit your trade (i.e. if you're in a long, wait for the SSL channel to flip red).
Any questions please fire away in the comments

[L] MTF SSL ChannelThis indicator plots SSL Channel, ideally from an higher time frame. I couldn't find any SSL Channel script with this feature so I made one, hope that helps others.
Features:
No Repainting
The script does not repaint and follows Pinescripters' guidelines.
Other Time Frame
It is possible to select another (higher) time frame. If a lower one is selected the script warns to change it, since calling a lower time frame leads to unreliable data.
Alerts
It is possible to create alerts for trend changes (cross Up or Down).
It also shows simple labels to see trend status at glance.
VWAP-ATR-SSLThis is an experimental idea to transform the original script created by @Fleite28 in a kind of SSL with volatility bands.
@Fleite28 has made all script and he have all credits, I just give him this idea.
I'm using this indicator to confirm:
1-potential bull trend (when you have 2x green lines with support)
2-potential bear trend (2x lines red - resistance)
3-consolidations (inside green support and red resistance).
Try to use this with a Market Profile Volume and some trend lines.
Super SSLSuper SSL Indicator.
SSL + SuperTrend signal filtering.
Signals are delivered by SSL, signals are then filtered out by SuperTrend, in the nnfx way of trading (C1 = SSL, C2 = ST).
SSL deliver signals. Supertrend filter them.
Included 1CR rule option : in the nnfx way, we allow C2 to agree 1 candle later.
Some configuration settings of this tool pass the VP's 5 benchmark (can't be used to pass the private group admission though).
SSL Off ChartThis is SSL channel, but displayed off chart.
I needed this for keep a clean chart during backtesting phases of NNFX algos.
Different display modes.
The "Colors Only" display mode is well adapted for SSL use as an exit indicator or a second confirmation indicator :
Let me know if you want a feature added :p
SSL Crossover + MA choiceThis indicator builds on the SSL channel code by ErwinBeckers @
I have added options for diff MA's to be used in the SSL channel and crossover indicators for buy/sell signals
default MA is set to Arnaud Legaux, but you can set it to whatever you like - original was a Simple Moving Average by ErwinBeckers
The indicator will not repaint as the signals are drawn after close of crossover candles
Let me know if you have any suggestions - happy to add more functionality
Strategy - Backtest Uber SSL Channel / SSL Indicator [UTS]Backtesting of Uber SSL Channel / SSL Indicator
Backtest with focus win/loss profitability. Formula: profitability = win / (win+loss)
Do not put too much weight on trade PNL as the value is not necessary correct.
For example: on SL or TP hit an open position is marked as to be closed but executed on the open a new candle, thus leads to incorrect PNL.
Default equity 50k
Default 2% Risk per trade
Default currency USD
Define backtest interval precisely by month, year, day
ATR (len: 14, smooth: SMA)
ATR based Stop-Loss, if hit trade will be closed and considered as loss
ATR based Take-Profit, if hit trade will be closed and considered as win
If TP or SL is hit trade is closed and of course considered as win/loss

A zero-line cross (color changes as well) is assumed as ENTRY signal and the trader can open a LONG/SHORT position following the trend direction.
Such a signal is also always an EXIT signal for currently active trades
Display Style
Three different display styles are available:
Area
Histogram (default)
Line Break

SSL HybridThis script is designed for the NNFX Method, so it is recommended for Daily charts only.
Tried to implement a few VP NNFX Rules
This script has a SSL / Baseline (you can choose between the SSL or MA), a secondary SSL for continiuation trades and a third SSL for exit trades.
Alerts added for Baseline entries, SSL2 continuations, Exits.
Baseline has a Keltner Channel setting for "in zone" Gray Candles
Added "Candle Size > 1 ATR" Diamonds from my old script with the criteria of being within Baseline ATR range.

CryptoJJ - SSL indicatorThe SSL indicator with colour change. Tool for spotting trends and finding good entry points. I recommend using it for higher timeframes, from 4h to 1D.
Play with the settings, you can change the moving avarage type, its length, if you prefer having the default
bar colours in your chart, disable the colouring function in the script.
Good luck crypto traders!

SSL Chaikin BF 🚀Combined my earlier SSL Channel script with the Chaikin Money Flow indicator.
Link to the SSL Channel script here:
INSTRUCTIONS
Look at the background, the signals are represented by the colors.
Bright green = long signal from SSL Channel
Bright blue = long signal from Chaikin Money Flow
Bright red = short signal from SSL Channel
Bright orange = short signal from Chaikin Money Flow
Green = we should be in a long from one of the signals - ok to enter back in if we get stopped out and still green
Red = we should be in a short from one of the signals - ok to enter back in if we get stopped out and still red
White = no trade
SIGNAL GENERATION
The SSL calculation prints a channel on the chart consisting of 2 lines.
This strategy gives a Long signal when price closes above the top of these 2 lines and a Short signal when it closes below the bottom.
A long signal occurs when EITHER we get an SSL long cross OR the Chaikin MF crosses above the upper threshold.
A short signal occurs when EITHER we get an SSL short cross OR the Chaikin MF crosses below the lower threshold (see settings to adjust upper and lower threshold).
STOP LOSS AND RE-ENTRY
We use a fixed stop loss of 2%
If we get stopped out but we still have the conditions for our trade (i.e. we get stopped out of a long but the next candle still shows a long condition after closing) then we re-enter.
Note: The SSL signals are generated on a cross of the price and the channels but there is still an active long signal as long as price stays above the upper band, same for below the lower band for short. Similarly, the Chaikin signal occurs as long as the Chaikin line is above the upper threshold (or below the lower threshold if short).
Tested and optimised for XBT/USD on Bitmex.
SSL Channel BFSSL Channel Close is a great all-rounder based on 2 Simple Moving Averages, one of recent Highs, one of recent Lows.
The calculation prints a channel on the chart consisting of 2 lines.
This strategy gives a Long signal when price closes above the top of these 2 lines and a Short signal when it closes below the bottom.
Trading in choppy sideways markets can compound losses so we avoid that here by using recent ATR to determine relative volatility and refrain from trading when the background is White.
We use a basic 3% stop loss.
Charted on XBT/USD Bitmex Daily chart.
INSTRUCTIONS
Green = long
Red = short
White Background= No trade
The way I have set this strategy up is that if we get stopped out but we are still in a green or red background, we re-enter. Closing the trade only occurs on an opposing signal or if we get stopped out.
SSL Channel w/alertSSL Channel with cross alert when channels cross up or down. Built on ErwinBeckers SSL Channel script.
2x SSL(ema) channelHey everyone!
Took the usual ssl channel, doubled it and modified it to ema settings instead.
[GM-Lite] SSL channelSSL Channels
This is an on chart trend indicator based on the moving averages of the highs and lows. When a trend change is detected, the lines will cross sides. This is a signal to enter a trade.
It can also be configured as an exit indicator by speeding up the settings.
Tends to give false signals in ranging periods where a good volatility indicator such as GM - PRO TDFI could help avoid losses.
The original indicator is SMA based. I have added EMA and LWMA options.
Enjoy.
