Features

These lines extend horizontally until 3:30 PM, after which they remain static at their last recorded levels. You can customize them by enabling or disabling visibility, adjusting colors, choosing a line style (solid, dashed, or dotted), and setting the width.
The 2:30 PM Candle highlights the candle at 2:30 PM (UK time) with a distinct color. It’s customizable, with options to enable or disable it and change its color.
Engulfing FVG (Fair Value Gap) identifies bullish and bearish engulfing patterns with a gap from the prior candle’s range. It draws a shaded box over the FVG area, and you can customize it by enabling or disabling it and adjusting the box color.
How It Works
The indicator operates within a session starting at 12:00 PM (UK time). BSL/SSL levels update between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, with lines extending until 3:30 PM. After 3:30 PM, these lines freeze.
BSL/SSL lines show the highest price (BSL) and lowest price (SSL) reached during the 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM window. After 3:30 PM, they remain static, marking the final range boundaries.
The 2:30 PM candle emphasizes a key timestamp, often of interest to intraday traders.
Engulfing FVGs detect significant price gaps created by engulfing candles, which may indicate potential reversal or continuation zones.
Settings
12 PM Line Settings let you toggle visibility and set the line color.
BSL/SSL Line Settings allow you to toggle visibility, set BSL and SSL colors, choose a line style (Solid, Dashed, Dotted), and adjust width (1-4).

Interpretation
The 12 PM Line serves as a reference for the session start.
BSL/SSL Lines may act as potential support or resistance zones or highlight liquidity areas. After 3:30 PM, they remain static, showing the session’s final range.
The 2:30 PM Candle can be monitored for price action signals, such as reversals or breakouts.

This technique can visualise potential support/resistance lines, which can be used as targets.
The script contains 2 main components:
• forming of a Fair Value Gap (FVG)
• drawing support/resistance (S/R) lines
🔹 Forming of FVG
When HTF candles forms an FVG, the FVG will be drawn at the end (close) of the last HTF candle.
To make it easier to visualise the 2 HTF candles that form the FVG, you can enable
• SHOW -> HTF candles
During the SB session, when a FVG is broken, the FVG will be removed, together with its S/R lines.
The same goes if price did not retrace into FVG at the last bar of the SB session
Only exception is when "Remove broken FVG's" is disabled.
In this case a FVG can be broken, as long as price bounces back before the end of the SB session, it will remain to be visible:
🔹 Drawing support/resistance lines
S/R target lines are drawn immediately when price retraces into the FVG.
They will remain updated until they are broken (target hit)
Potential S/R lines are formed by:
• previous swings (swing settings (left-right)
• New Week Opening Gap (NWOG): close on Friday - weekly open

Remove broken FVG's: when enabled the script will remove FVG (+ associated S/R lines) immediately when FVG is broken at opposite direction.
FVG's still will be automatically removed at the end of the SB session, when there is no retrace, together with associated S/R lines,...

1) What this indicator is intended to do
This indicator attempts to algorithmically discover “mine shaft” price structure on a chart by:
Collecting structural anchor points (gaps and optionally pivots),
Generating candidate trend “rails” (centerline + parallel upper/lower borders) from pairs of anchors,
Fitting an optimal channel width around each candidate centerline,
Scoring candidates based on how well price action conforms to the channel (touches + containment),
Selecting and rendering:
the main shaft channel (primary),
additional drifts (secondary shafts per direction),
And then detecting Ore Pockets: time locations where multiple selected lines intersect (time confluence / intersection clustering).
The conceptual model is:
A shaft = a best-fit channel that price respects over time (the “main tunnel”).
Drifts = alternate channels close in quality to the main shaft (secondary tunnels).
Ore pockets = future/past time coordinates where multiple channels’ centerlines intersect densely (confluence in time, not necessarily in price).
2) What it is doing right now (current behavior)
In its current form, the script does a bounded, performance-limited scan:
It stores a limited number of anchor points in arrays.
It only considers a bounded number of recent anchors per direction.
It constructs candidate lines from anchor pairs and evaluates channel fitness using sampled bars.
On the last bar, it selects top candidates per direction and draws:
a “main” channel per mode (single best overall, or separate up/down),
plus optional drift channels,
plus ore pocket markers.
It is producing meaningful channels and drifts, but it is currently more likely to lock onto a strong “local” shaft than the one macro shaft spanning the entire market structure.
3) Core mechanics (how the script finds shafts)
3.1 Anchor generation (what points it uses)
Anchors are the “support points” used to build candidate shaft centerlines.
Two anchor families are supported:
A) Gap anchors (from your selected gap mode)
These attempt to capture “displacement events” and their boundaries/mids.
B) Pivot anchors (optional structural anchors)
These use pivots to inject macro structure points that are not strictly gap-based.
All anchors are stored as:
anchorX: bar_index of anchor
anchorY: price of anchor
anchorD: direction flag (+1 for up, -1 for down)
Anchors are capped by maxAnchors with FIFO trimming.
3.2 Candidate generation (how it produces centerlines)
For each direction (+1 and -1):
Collect “recent” anchors of that direction within lookbackBars (bounded to maxDirAnchors).
For each pair of anchors (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) that satisfy:
spacing within ,
slope sign consistent with direction,
Construct the line equation:
slope m and intercept b
Fit a channel width w around that line (via width mode).
Score it (touches + inside count minus width penalty).
Keep the top K rails (K = driftCount+1 typically).
3.3 Scoring model (what “best” means right now)
For a candidate centerline:
At sampled bars (stride sampling), compute:
channel top = y(x) + w
channel bot = y(x) - w
Evaluate:
Inside: candle range fits within the channel ± tolerance
Touches: high near top border, low near bottom border (within tolerance)
Score formula:
score = insideCount * insideWeight
+ touchCount * touchWeight
- (w / ATR) * widthPenalty
So:
Higher inside and touch counts increase score
Wider channels are penalized (in ATR units) to avoid “cheating” via enormous width
3.4 Width fitting (how the channel thickness is chosen)
Width is either:
Fit (scan widths): scans widths between a min width and a max deviation cap and selects the best scoring width.
Fixed ATR Envelope: uses a fixed width derived from ATR (currently hard-coded to a 2.0 ATR envelope in your present draft).
Fixed Max Deviation: width is max observed deviation from line in sampled window.
This matters because “macro shaft” detection is strongly influenced by whether the width-fitting is allowed to expand enough to contain large historical moves, without being penalized into losing to a smaller local shaft.
3.5 Rendering (what gets drawn)
For any selected rail, it draws:
Upper border line (top rail)
Lower border line (bottom rail)
Optional centerline (main only)
Optional fill between borders (main only)
Label at current bar with touches and inside count
Drifts render similarly but without main-only features (depending on flags).
3.6 Ore Pocket detection (time confluence)
Ore pockets are not “price zones” directly.
They are computed as follows:
Collect selected centerlines (m,b) for:
the main selected shaft(s),
and all drift centerlines (both directions if present)
For each pair of selected lines, compute intersection x-coordinate:
x* = (b2 - b1) / (m1 - m2)
Only keep intersections within:
Cluster intersections by time proximity (clusterBars)
Mark the strongest clusters (highest counts) as “Ore Pocket” vertical dotted lines with labels.
Interpretation:
A dense cluster indicates many selected rails converge around a similar time coordinate.
It is a “time confluence” hypothesis point.

The historical window used to:

Larger lookback tends to favor macro shafts, but also increases computational risk (mitigated by evalBars and stride).
ATR Length
ATR period used for tolerance and width penalty scaling.
Tolerance (ATR mult)
Defines how close price must be to a rail to count as “touch” and how strict the “inside channel” containment is.
Higher tolerance = easier to score high on touch/inside.
Min Border Touches (keep rail)
Minimum number of border touches required before a candidate is even eligible.
Score: Inside Weight
Weight of inside count in score.
Score: Border Touch Weight
Weight of border touches in score.
This is a strong driver of “shaft-like” behavior.
Score: Width Penalty (in ATRs)
Penalizes wide channels relative to ATR.
Higher penalty biases toward narrow/local shafts.
03) Performance Controls
Max Stored Anchors (global)
Maximum anchor points kept in memory arrays.
Too low can cause loss of macro structure; too high increases candidate noise.
Max Anchors / Direction (scan)
Hard cap on how many anchors are used in candidate generation per direction.
Critical: this strongly influences whether macro shaft can be found, because if you only keep the most recent anchors, you lose the early-structure anchor points.
Eval Bars (max)
Maximum historical bars actually evaluated for scoring.
Even if lookbackBars is large, evaluation is capped here.
Eval Stride (sample every N bars)
Sampling step for evaluation.
Larger stride = faster but less accurate scoring.

To accomplish that, the current algorithm needs additional architecture. Concretely:
A) True multi-scale / hierarchical discovery (primary missing feature)
Right now: one pass, one lookback, one score objective.
Still Needed:
Macro pass: discover a primary shaft using a very long evaluation window and anchor set.
Micro pass(es): discover drifts/secondary shafts using:
residuals (distance from macro centerline),
or segmented time windows (regime partitions),
or anchor subsets constrained to local regions.
This is the single biggest reason we are not consistently getting the full-structure shaft.
B) Anchor retention strategy for macro detection
Right now:
anchors are FIFO capped and direction scanning uses “recent anchors only.”
To reliably find 10-year shafts we need:
an option to store/retain representative anchors across the entire history, not only the most recent ones.
Examples of necessary improvements:
“Stratified anchor sampling” across time (keep some old anchors even when maxAnchors is hit)
“Macro anchor bank” (separate storage for pivots or major gaps)
C) Candidate generation constraints must support macro lines
If we want a shaft spanning the whole structure:
maxSpacing must allow it
the candidate pool must contain anchors far apart in time
So the algorithm needs:
better selection of anchor pairs for long-span candidates (e.g., include earliest/oldest anchors + newest anchors deliberately, not accidentally)
D) Drift diversification
Right now drifts are “next best by score,” which often yields near-duplicates.
We want:
“diverse” secondary shafts:
enforce minimum angular difference,
enforce minimum offset difference,
or penalize candidates too similar to the already-selected shaft.
E) Width fitting logic for macro channels
Macro channels often require:
either a higher width cap,
or a different penalty profile.
Current width penalty is simple and can bias against macro channels.
Needed:
width penalty that scales by timescale or by total evaluated bars,
or separate macro/micro scoring.

Currently pockets are time intersections only.
If you want “pocket zones,” improvements could include:
projecting intersection price and drawing a zone box,
clustering in (time, price) space instead of only time,

WHAT IT DOES
This indicator displays Higher Timeframe (HTF) candles to the right of your chart and highlights Precision Swing Points—pivots where price diverges from correlated assets. When ES makes a new high but NQ doesn't follow, or gold pushes higher while DXY fails to confirm, you're looking at institutional repositioning.
PSPs mark these moments on your HTF candles, giving you a clean visual signal for potential reversals.
HOW IT WORKS
Divergence Detection
The indicator compares price action between your chart and up to two correlated assets. A divergence occurs when one asset makes a directional move (bullish/bearish candle) while a correlated asset moves the opposite direction.
Three divergence relationships are tracked:
Primary vs Secondary (e.g., ES vs NQ)
Primary vs Tertiary (e.g., ES vs DXY)
Secondary vs Tertiary (e.g., NQ vs DXY)
PSP Confirmation
A candle is marked as a PSP when:
A divergence exists between correlated assets
A swing pivot forms (high > previous high AND high > next high, or vice versa for lows)

Sweeps are detected when an HTF candle (C2) takes out the high or low of the previous candle (C1) and then closes back inside. This marks liquidity grabs on the higher timeframe.
HOW TO USE
Enable HTF timeframes: Select 1-3 higher timeframes relevant to your trading style (e.g., 30m, 90m, 4H for intraday traders)
Watch for PSP candles: When a candle body color changes to the divergence color, a PSP has formed
Note the direction: Bullish divergence (your asset bullish while correlated asset bearish) suggests upside; bearish divergence suggests downside
Combine with LTF structure: Use PSPs as bias, then look for entry on lower timeframes (CHoCH, FVG, etc.)

This indicator combines three institutional trading concepts into a unified confluence scoring system: Liquidity Zones (swing-based), Order Blocks, and Fair Value Gaps. The unique value lies not in these individual concepts, but in HOW they interact through the confluence scoring algorithm to filter high-probability zones.
HOW THE CONFLUENCE SCORING WORKS
The core innovation is the calcConfluence() function that assigns a numerical score to each detected level:
1. Base Score: Every swing pivot starts with score = 1
2. Zone Overlap Detection: The algorithm iterates through all active zones within confDist * ATR proximity. Each overlapping zone adds +1 to the score
3. Order Block Proximity: If an Order Block's midpoint (top + bottom) / 2 falls within the confluence distance, +1 is added
4. HTF Validation: Using request.security(), the indicator fetches higher timeframe swing pivots. If the current zone aligns with an HTF swing within 2 * confDist * ATR_htf, a +2 bonus is awarded
Zones scoring 4+ are highlighted as high confluence - these represent areas where multiple institutional concepts converge.
HOW LIQUIDITY ZONES ARE CALCULATED
Detection: ta.pivothigh() and ta.pivotlow() with configurable lookback (default: 5 bars left/right)
Zone Width - Three modes available:
- ATR Dynamic: ATR(14) * multiplier (default 0.25)
- Fixed %: close * (percentage / 100)
- Wick Based: max(upperWick, lowerWick) * 1.5
Proximity Filter: isTooClose() prevents clustering by enforcing minimum ATR * minATRdist between zones
HOW ORDER BLOCKS ARE DETECTED
The detectBullishOB() / detectBearishOB() functions identify the last opposing candle before an impulse move:
1. Check if candle is opposing direction (bearish before bullish impulse, vice versa)
2. Validate consecutive candles in impulse direction (configurable, default: 3)
3. Volume confirmation: volume >= volMA * volMult (using 50-period SMA)
4. Minimum move validation: abs(close - close ) > ATR
This filters out weak OBs and focuses on those with institutional volume footprints.
HOW FAIR VALUE GAPS ARE DETECTED
FVGs represent price imbalances:
- Bullish FVG: low - high > ATR * fvgMinSize
- Bearish FVG: low - high > ATR * fvgMinSize
The ATR-relative sizing ensures gaps are significant relative to current volatility.
HOW SWEEP DETECTION WORKS
The checkSweep() function identifies false breakouts through wick analysis:
1. Calculate wick percentage: upperWick / totalRange or lowerWick / totalRange
2. Sweep conditions for resistance: high > zone.upper AND close < zone.price AND wickPct >= threshold
3. Sweep conditions for support: low < zone.lower AND close > zone.price AND wickPct >= threshold
A sweep indicates liquidity was grabbed without genuine continuation - often preceding reversals.
HOW FRESHNESS DECAY WORKS
The calcFreshness() function implements linear decay:
freshness = 1.0 - (age / decayBars)
freshness = max(freshness, minFresh)
This ensures old, tested zones fade visually while fresh zones remain prominent.
WHY THESE COMPONENTS WORK TOGETHER
The synergy is based on the principle that institutional activity leaves multiple footprints:
- Swing Pivots = where retail stops cluster
- Order Blocks = where institutions entered
- FVGs = where aggressive institutional orders created imbalances
- HTF Alignment = where higher timeframe participants are active
When these footprints converge at the same price level (high confluence score), the probability of significant price reaction increases.

After the breakout, wait for the first FVG in breakout direction,

Forever ModelForever Model is a comprehensive trading framework that visualizes market structure through Fair Value Gaps (FVGs), Smart Money Technique (SMT) divergences, and order block confirmations. The indicator identifies potential price rotations by tracking internal liquidity zones, correlation breaks between assets, and confirmation signals across multiple timeframes.

Description
The model operates through a three-part sequence that forms the visual foundation for identifying potential market rotations:
Fair Value Gaps (FVGs)
FVGs are price imbalances detected on higher timeframes—areas where price moved rapidly between candles, leaving an inefficiency that may be revisited. The indicator identifies both bullish and bearish FVGs, displaying them with color-coded levels that extend until mitigated.

Smart Money Technique (SMT)
SMT detects divergence between the current chart asset and a correlated pair. When one asset makes a higher high while the other forms a lower high (or vice versa), it indicates a potential shift in delivery. The indicator draws visual lines connecting these divergence points and can filter SMTs to only display those occurring within FVG ranges.

Order Block Confirmations (OB)
When price confirms a signal by crossing a pivot level, an Order Block is created. The confirmation line extends from the pivot point, labeled as "OB+" for bullish signals or "OB-" for bearish signals. The latest OB extends to the current bar, while previous OBs remain fixed at their confirmation points.

Key Features
Higher Timeframe (HTF) Detection
FVGs are detected on a higher timeframe than the current chart, with automatic HTF selection based on the current timeframe or manual override options. This ensures that internal liquidity zones are identified from the appropriate structural context.
External Range Liquidity (ERL)
Tracks the latest higher timeframe pivot highs and lows, marking external liquidity levels that may be revisited. ERL levels are displayed as horizontal lines with optional labels, providing context for potential continuation targets.

Signal Creation and Confirmation System
The model creates pending signals when FVG levels are mitigated. Signals confirm when price closes beyond a pivot level, creating the OB confirmation line. Stop levels are automatically calculated from the maximum (bearish) or minimum (bullish) price between signal creation and confirmation.
SMT Filtering Options
Display all SMTs or only those within FVG ranges
Require SMT for signal confirmation (optional filter)
Automatic or manual SMT pair selection
Support for both correlated and inverse correlated pairs
Directional Bias Filter
Filter FVG detection to show only bullish bias, bearish bias, or both. This allows analysts to align with higher timeframe structure or focus on unidirectional setups.
Confirmation Line Management
Toggle to extend only the latest confirmation line or all confirmation lines
Transparent label backgrounds with colored text (red for bearish, green for bullish)
Automatic cleanup of old confirmation lines (keeps last 50)
Labels positioned at line end (latest) or middle (older lines)
Position Sizing Calculator
Optional position sizing based on account balance, risk percentage or fixed amount, and instrument-specific contract sizes. Supports prop firm calculations and can display position size, entry, and stop levels in the dashboard.

A customizable floating table displays:
Current timeframe and HTF
Remaining time in current bar
Current bias direction
Latest confirmed signal details (type, size, entry, stop)
Pending signal status
The dashboard can be repositioned, resized, and styled to match your preferences.
Special Range Creation
When signals confirm, the model can automatically create special range levels from stop prices. These levels persist on the chart as important reference points, even after mitigation, serving as potential reversal zones for future signals.
