SPX 60m ORB Credit Spread DashboardSPX 60m ORB Credit Spread Dashboard + Fail-Safe Exit Monitor

This indicator is designed as a decision-support dashboard for traders using the 60-minute Opening Range Breakout to trade SPX 0DTE credit spreads.
Rather than acting as a simple buy/sell signal, this tool is built to answer one key question:
Is the market environment confirming the 60m ORB breakout strongly enough to justify a 0DTE SPX credit spread?
The dashboard evaluates bullish and bearish breakout conditions separately, helping identify whether the setup favors a put credit spread after a bullish ORB breakout or a call credit spread after a bearish ORB breakdown.

CORE CONCEPT
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The first 60 minutes of the regular session often define the day’s early directional structure. However, not every breakout is worth trading, especially with 0DTE options.
This indicator scores the quality of the breakout using a multi-factor confirmation model designed to filter out weak, unsupported ORB moves.
Confirmation factors include:
• SPX price location relative to VWAP
• EMA trend alignment
• ORB range quality
• ORB close location
• Breakout candle strength
• Volume impulse
• VIX confirmation
• Mega-cap stock confirmation
• ES/NQ futures confirmation
• 10-year yield pressure
• U.S. Dollar Index pressure
• Crude oil shock risk
• Manual high-impact event filter
• Valid trade window filter
The goal is to help avoid weak ORB breakouts and focus only on higher-quality setups where multiple market factors are aligned.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
BULLISH VS BEARISH SCORING
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The dashboard displays separate Bullish and Bearish confirmation scores.
A bullish score helps evaluate whether a bullish ORB breakout is strong enough to consider a put credit spread.
A bearish score helps evaluate whether a bearish ORB breakdown is strong enough to consider a call credit spread.
Suggested interpretation:
• 80%+ = A+ setup with strong confirmation
• 70–79% = B setup / reduced size only
• Below 70% = confirmation likely too weak
• High opposite-side score = conflicting conditions / caution
The dashboard also includes a conflict filter to avoid setups where the breakout direction is not clearly supported by broader market conditions.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
FAIL-SAFE EXIT MONITOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This version includes a built-in Fail-Safe Exit Monitor.
Once an A+ or B setup is triggered, the monitor begins tracking whether the trade environment remains healthy.
For a bullish ORB breakout / put credit spread, the exit monitor watches for:
• Price losing VWAP
• Price falling back inside the ORB
• Bullish score deterioration
• VIX reversing higher
• Mega-cap basket rolling over
• NQ weakening
• Opposite candle pressure
For a bearish ORB breakdown / call credit spread, the exit monitor watches for:
• Price reclaiming VWAP
• Price moving back inside the ORB
• Bearish score deterioration
• VIX fading lower
• Mega-cap basket recovering
• NQ strengthening
• Opposite candle pressure
The exit monitor displays:
• Healthy
• Warning
• Danger
This is intended to help manage 0DTE spread risk before a trade environment deteriorates.

BEST USE CASE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This indicator is best used on the SPX 5-minute chart.
Default ORB window:
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM Central Time
This represents the first 60 minutes of the regular U.S. cash session.
The indicator is especially useful for traders who use the 60m ORB as a directional filter for SPX, SPY, or XSP 0DTE credit spreads.

Consider a put credit spread only if confirmation is strong.
Use the fail-safe monitor to manage risk after entry.
For a bearish ORB breakdown:
Wait for the first 60-minute range to complete.
Watch for price to break below the ORB low.
Check the bearish dashboard score.
Confirm VWAP, VIX, mega caps, NQ, rates, and volume are aligned.
Consider a call credit spread only if confirmation is strong.
Use the fail-safe monitor to manage risk after entry.

IMPORTANT NOTES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This indicator is not intended to be a standalone trading system or financial advice.
It is designed as a confirmation and risk-management dashboard for traders who already have a structured ORB-based options strategy.
Because 0DTE credit spreads carry significant risk, this tool should be used alongside proper position sizing, spread selection, stop-loss planning, and awareness of economic events.
TradingView Pine Script cannot automatically detect every major economic event, so the manual high-impact event filter should be enabled on days with CPI, PPI, FOMC, Powell speeches, jobs data, ISM, Michigan sentiment, Treasury auctions, or other market-moving events.

SUMMARY
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The purpose of this indicator is simple:
Filter out weak ORB breakouts, identify stronger SPX 60m ORB credit-spread opportunities, and provide early warning when the trade environment starts to fail.
It combines internal SPX structure with broader market confirmation so traders can make more informed 0DTE credit-spread decisions.
