FRAMA Channel [BigBeluga]This is a trend-following indicator that utilizes the Fractal Adaptive Moving Average (FRAMA) to create a dynamic channel around the price. The FRAMA Channel helps identify uptrends, downtrends, and ranging markets by examining the relationship between the price and the channel's boundaries. It also marks trend changes with arrows, optionally displaying either price values or average volume at these key points.
🔵 IDEA
The core idea behind the FRAMA Channel indicator is to use the fractal nature of markets to adapt to different market conditions. By creating a channel around the FRAMA line, it not only tracks price trends but also adapts its sensitivity based on market volatility. When the price crosses the upper or lower bands of the channel, it signals a potential shift in trend direction. If the price remains within the channel and crosses over the upper or lower bands without a breakout, the market is likely in a ranging phase with low momentum. This adaptive approach makes the FRAMA Channel effective in both trending and ranging market environments.
🔵 KEY FEATURES & USAGE
◉ Dynamic FRAMA Channel with Trend Signals:
The FRAMA Channel uses a fractal-based moving average to create an adaptive channel around the price. When the price crosses above the upper band, it signals an uptrend and plots an upward arrow with the price (or average volume) value. Conversely, when the price crosses below the lower band, it signals a downtrend and marks the point with a downward arrow. This dynamic adaptation to market conditions helps traders identify key trend shifts effectively.
◉ Ranging Market Detection:
If the price remains within the channel, and only the high crosses the upper band or the low crosses the lower band, the indicator identifies a ranging market with low momentum. In this case, the channel turns gray, signaling a neutral trend. This is particularly useful for avoiding false signals during periods of market consolidation.
◉ Color-Coded Candles and Channel Bands:
Candles and channel bands are color-coded to reflect the current trend direction. Green indicates an upward trend, blue shows a downward trend, and gray signals a neutral or ranging market. This visual representation makes it easy to identify the market condition at a glance, helping traders make informed decisions quickly.
◉ Customizable Display of Price or Average Volume:
On trend change signals, the indicator allows users to choose whether to display the price at the point of trend change or the average volume of 10 bars. This flexibility enables traders to focus on the information that is most relevant to their strategy, whether it's the exact price entery or the volume context of the market shift. Displaying the average volume allows to see the strength of the trend change.

🔵 CUSTOMIZATION
Length & Bands Distance: Adjust the length for the FRAMA calculation to control the sensitivity of the channel. A shorter length makes the channel more reactive to price changes, while a longer length smooths it out. The Bands Distance setting determines how far the bands are from the FRAMA line, helping to define the breakout and ranging conditions.
Signals Data: Choose between displaying the price or the average volume on trend change arrows. This allows traders to focus on either the exact price level of trend change or the market volume context.
Color Settings: Customize the colors for upward momentum, downward momentum, and neutral states to suit your charting preferences. You can also toggle whether to color the candles based on the momentum for a clearer visual of the trend direction.
The FRAMA Channel indicator adapts to market conditions, providing a versatile tool for identifying trends and ranging markets with clear visual cues.

Shadow Range IndexShadow Range Index (SRI) introduces a new concept to calculate momentum, shadow range.
What is range?
Traditionally, True Range (TR) is the current high minus the current low of each bar in the timeframe. This is often used successfully on its own in indicators, or as a moving average in ATR (Average True Range).
To calculate range, SRI uses an innovative calculation of current bar range that also considers the previous bar. It calculates the difference between its maximum upward and maximum downward values over the number of bars the user chooses (by adjusting ‘Range lookback’).
What is shadow range?
True Range (TR) uses elements in its calculation (the highs and lows of the bar) that are also visible on the chart bars. Shadow range does not, though.
SRI calculates shadow range in a similar formula to range, except that this time it works out the difference between the minimum upward and minimum downward movement. This movement is by its nature less than the maximums, hence a shadow of it. Although more subtle, shadow range is significant, because it is quantifiable, and goes in one direction or another.
Finally, SRI smoothes shadow range and plots it as a histogram, and also smoothes and plots range as a signal line. Useful up and down triangles show trend changes, which optionally colour the chart bars.
Here’s an example of a long trade setup:
In summary, Shadow Range Index identifies and traces maximum and minimum bar range movement both up and down, and plots them as centred oscillators. The dynamics between the two can provide insights into the chart's performance and future direction.

Ultimate Momentum OscillatorThe Ultimate Momentum Oscillator is a tool designed to help traders identify the current trend direction and the momentum of the prices.
This oscillator is composed of one histogram and one line, paired with the two overbought and the two oversold levels.
The histogram is a trend-based algorithm that allows the user to read the market bias with multiple trend lengths combined.
The line is a momentum-based formula that allows traders to identify potential reversal and the speed of the price.
This tool can be used to:
- Identify the current trend direction
- Identify the momentum of the price
- Identify oversold and overbought levels
Ichimoku MA Up & DownIchimoku and MA use the default.
It is repainted because it uses a moving average line.
A marker is only true if it was created after the candle closed.
The principle is too simple.
Please enjoy using it.
- Up : Conversion Line > MA #1 and Base Line > MA #2
It is an uptrend. The short-term moving average should be above the conversion line. And the long-term should be above the Base Line.
- Down : Conversion Line < MA #1 and Base Line < MA #2
It's a downtrend. The short-term moving average should be below the conversion line. And the long-term should be below the Base Line.
You can get better results if you use a momentum indicator like RSI.
Thank you.
Momentum Scalping & Swing Signals With AlertsThis Momentum indicator shows a green or red ribbon when smoothed momentum is bullish or bearish. It also includes a long moving average for overall trend confirmation. Wait until the ribbon holds above or below the long moving average and take positions in that direction.
To get an easier to read momentum indicator, I smoothed the momentum out and paired it next to a short term RMA. These two together form the ribbon that will show you early reversals and trend direction. The long moving average is used as an overall trend detector and confirmation for longer term trends.
***HOW TO USE***
Scalping: Enter longs when the ribbon turns green and enter shorts when the ribbon turns red. Exit positions when the ribbon turns the opposite color or crosses the long moving average.
Swing Trading: When the ribbon holds above the long moving average or breaks out and retests it, look for long positions and exit when the ribbon turns red or crosses the long moving average. When the ribbon holds below the long moving average or breaks down and retests it, look for short positions and exit when the ribbon turns green or crosses the long moving average.
***DETAILS***
This indicator gives early reversal signals very well and waiting for the momentum ribbon to cross the long moving average helps to get you into positions when the market is ready to really move while filtering out some of the noise.
The ribbon and background will change to green or red depending on whether it is currently bullish or bearish.
There is also a label that changes colors and tells you if momentum is bullish or bearish and also whether the momentum ribbon is above or below the long moving average.
Green or red circles will appear on the indicator when there is a bullish or bearish cross of the momentum ribbon and the long moving average.
It includes alerts that trigger when momentum is turning bullish/bearish or when the momentum ribbon is crossing the long moving average.
***CUSTOMIZATION***
Each piece of this indicator can be customized to suit your preferences including the momentum source, length, smoothing length, short moving average length and long moving average length. You can also turn off the labels, signals and long moving average. All of these settings can be managed within the indicator settings input tab.

StockBee MB BullishStockBee Bullish Momentum Burst & 20% Plus Study Tool
The Stockbee bullish momentum burst study tool is helpful for practitioners of the momentum burst method who want to easily find historical momentum bursts and/or 20% plus gainers using Trading View. This script finds three specific breakouts that meet the below criteria:
4% Breakouts (Colors Candle Body)
1. Volume of the candle is greater than the previous candle volume.
2. The percent change of candle's price is greater than 4% from the previous candle close.
3. Current candle close is less than 30% from candle's high.
**Users can toggle 4% Breakouts on/off and also change candle body color in settings**
Dollar Breakouts (Colors Candle Body)
1. The change of candle's price is greater than $0.90 from the previous candle close.
2. Current candle close is less than 30% from candle's high.
** Dollar Breakout does not take volume into consideration **
**Users can toggle Dollar Breakouts on/off and also change candle body color in settings**
20% Plus Gainers (Displays Yellow Triangle Icon)
1. The change over five candles is greater than 20%.
**Users can toggle 20% plus label on/off, cannot change the label color**
This script also filters out any candle that gaps up and breaks down with a close above 4% the previous candle (Eliminates gap-ups that fade). This tool is meant to find and filter possible candidates. Not every marked candle is a great momentum burst trade. Users can look at 4% Breakouts, Dollar Breakouts, 20% Plus Gainers individually or any combination of the three.
This is helpful for Trading View users trading this specific setup.
Mobo BandsThis indicator is the Mobo Bands (Momentum Breakout Bands). These bands are bollinger bands that have an adjusted standard deviation. There are Buy signals when it has momentum breakouts above the bands for moves to the upside and Sell signals when it has momentum breakouts below the bands for moves to the downside. The bands simply suggest that all markets have periods of chop which we all know to be true. While the price is inside the bands it is said to be trendless. Once the breakouts happen you can take trades in the breakout direction. I like to use these to swing trade options on the hourly timeframe but the bands should work on most instruments and timeframes. I like to use it to take swings on SPY on the 1 hour chart for entries and use the Daily chart for trend confirmation.
Momentum With Bullish & Bearish LabelMOMENTUM WITH BULLISH AND BEARISH SIGNALS
This is a momentum oscillator that paints red or green depending on whether Momentum is above or below the zero line. It includes a label on the right hand side that will reflect the bullish or bearish direction of the current momentum by changing colors to red or green and text telling you Bullish or Bearish.
***HOW TO USE***
When Momentum is above zero, it is bullish. When Momentum is below zero it is bearish.
A label on the right side will update in real time to tell you if momentum is Bullish or Bearish for faster recognition of the trend.
When momentum is above the zero line(Bullish) but trending downward, a second label will show up in purple to notify you of a change in momentum direction.
When momentum is below the zero line(Bearish) but trending upward, a second label will show up in purple to notify you of a change in momentum direction.
This indicator was built to help you quickly identify the Bullish or Bearish nature of the current Momentum using colors as well as a live color changing label so you can glance at the label and understand it's direction without analyzing the indicator data.
