Description:

This custom Pine Script indicator is designed for traders who want to automatically monitor multiple timeframes for significant spikes in both volume and price. The script uses a 3‑minute base timeframe along with additional timeframes (15‑minute, 30‑minute, 1‑hour, 4‑hour, and daily) to detect abnormal trading activity. For each timeframe, it compares the current volume against a 50‑bar simple moving average (SMA) and checks whether the price has increased by a specified percentage. Additionally, the indicator enforces an absolute minimum volume threshold for each timeframe (for example, at least 25,000 shares on the 3‑minute timeframe and 125,000 shares on the 15‑minute timeframe) to help ensure that alerts are only triggered during substantial trading activity.

A built‑in 20‑minute cooldown prevents multiple alerts from cluttering your chart—only one alert will be triggered within any 20‑minute window. When an alert condition is met, a marker is plotted on the chart along with a dynamic label indicating which timeframe triggered the alert. A constant alert condition is also available so you can use TradingView’s alert system to receive notifications automatically.
