NYMO Alert

Overview
The NYMO Alert is a comprehensive TradingView indicator designed around the "New York Midnight Open" (NYMO) concept. It tracks the price level at midnight (00:00) in the selected timezone (default: America/New_York) and monitors price behavior during key pre-market and early-session windows to determine range balance.
At exactly 7:00 AM, the indicator issues a non-repainting alert indicating whether the range is BALANCED (midnight open revisited between 3:00–7:00 AM → no retracement expected) or IMBALANCED (midnight open not revisited → expect retracement to the midnight level during the 8:30–11:00 AM window).
Key Features
Midnight Open Tracking: Draws horizontal lines for the current and historical midnight open levels (user-configurable number of past days).
Time Window Visualization:
Semi-transparent vertical bands highlighting the 3:00–7:00 AM observation window (blue tint).
Semi-transparent vertical bands highlighting the 8:30–11:00 AM retracement window (purple tint).
Real-Time Information Table (top-right corner):
Current midnight open price.
Range status (BALANCED/IMBALANCED) with color coding.
Current time in selected timezone.
Observation and retracement window status.
Distance from close to midnight open in points, color-coded:
Red: < 30 points
Orange: 30–49 points
Green: ≥ 50 points
Label: "NYM Open" placed to the right of the current midnight open line for easy identification.
Precise 7:00 AM Alerts:
Two separate alert conditions ("Range Balanced at 7am" and "Range Imbalanced at 7am").
Fires on the first bar at or after 7:00 AM (works reliably on any timeframe, including 1-minute charts).
Messages include dynamic placeholder for the midnight open level.
How It Works
Captures the opening price of the bar at 00:00 in the chosen timezone.
During the 3:00–7:00 AM observation window, checks if price touches or crosses the midnight open level.
At 7:00 AM, evaluates the status and triggers the appropriate alert.
Visual elements update dynamically and support multiple historical days.
Inputs
Timezone: Choose from New York (default), Chicago, Los Angeles, or London.
Historical Days to Display: Number of past midnight open levels to show (1–10, default 3).
Midnight Open Color / Width / Style: Customize the appearance of the horizontal lines.
Extend Current MOP Line Right (bars): How far to extend the current day's midnight open line into the future (default 20 bars).
Observation Window Color (3am–7am) and Retracement Window Color (8:30am–11am): Adjust the shading of the vertical time bands.
Usage Tips
Best experienced on 1-minute or 5-minute charts for precise timing.
Create alerts using the built-in alert conditions for reliable daily notifications at 7:00 AM.
The indicator is fully overlay and works on any symbol/timeframe.
Ideal for traders following midnight open / NYMO strategies, pre-market range analysis, and early-session retracement setups.
