Stellantis and Mistral AI to Accelerate AI Integration Across Automaker's Operations

Stellantis and Mistral AI are expanding their partnership to speed up adoption of artificial-intelligence technology across the automaker's operations.

The two companies have been spent the past 18 months working together to develop advanced AI solutions and integrate the French AI startup's models into a range of use cases, including in-car assistance features and AI-powered business and engineering workflows.

They will now move on from the pilot phase and target a strategic alliance that will see generative AI technology embedded directly into Stellantis' core operations to boost efficiency, agility and better serve customers, Stellantis said Wednesday.

Two new teams will be created to co-develop solutions and scale AI adoption across Stellantis.

One will focus on developing AI solutions to embed intelligence directly in Stellantis' business processes, starting with a focus on sales and aftersales. Another will work on scaling AI adoption across the automaker, accelerating the move from prototypes to production, and launching new use cases.
