Today, we are witnessing an unusual situation with GOLD, despite the technical analysis already available.

On Thursday morning in Europe, President Trump confirmed that his proposed 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada will take effect on March 4, alongside an additional 10% duty on Chinese goods.

This announcement triggered significant movements across various markets. We observed a strong sell-off in indices, the crypto market, and stocks. Forex markets experienced notable turbulence, though the reactions seemed somewhat disproportionate to the news. GOLD, too, has been moving downward, adding to the complexity.

However, amidst this chaos attributed to President Trump's tariffs, I suspect there may be a larger, underlying factor at play. This does not appear to be a case of USD strength—it feels more like U.S. policy-driven volatility. We must tread carefully, as the true intentions behind Trump's actions remain unclear. Holding GOLD longs, at least for now, does not seem to align with the current market sentiment.

It is possible that we are witnessing a profit-taking phase orchestrated by hedge funds or central banks, with Trump's actions serving as a convenient cover for market manipulation. While this is purely my personal perspective, it’s worth considering the broader implications.
