Interesting action from gold this past week, now a long?

Analysis on chart.. gold has broken out of the downtrend pitchfork (see post below). In the near term, gold is a long swing into the 1185 area, with a stop under the most recent range expansion daily bar. If gold slices through the mode, achieves target price projection and maintains stability above it, a critical blow would be dealt to the dollar.
