Here's a potential path ahead for the VIX indicator in the shape of the handle on a cup which began being built back in early May 21' (as shown in the graph below.

SPX overbought with a strong negative RSI divergence.

My intial target is the 24 - 26.5 range, but if it were to break out I might reassess.
