USDCAD SHORT

The Consumer Price Index CPI report for CAD would be released today 1:30pm GMT+1.

The CPI which measures change in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers accounts for the effect of overall inflation in Canada.

The CPI is released monthly by the Statistics Canada monthly to effectively track inflation rate.

We have inflation rate reported for June in the month of August at 0.1%. The predicted value for this month by Statistics Canada is -0.1%.

So, if the value reported today exceeds the -0.1% then it becomes good news for CAD and USDCAD would dump.
