ดัชนี Nifty 50ที่อัปเดต: Nifty made an all time high, followed by small correction.
Nifty opened positive, and made an all time high of 12132, that was close to the previous high made on election day. Could not sustain high levels and towards 2nd half came down to 12006 and closed at 12037.
Technically Nifty made a second top today, and closed in the red. It need to cross the today's high and sustain for the comforts of the bulls,
On the face of it, a 36 point fall after a y'day big upmove looks insignificant, but there is more to this "not so big" today's fall.
Nifty posted a handsome gain yesterday, breached a range it was struggling to break for over three weeks, but all this has happened at low volume. On the contrary today's fall (approx. 100 points from the top and 36 points from previous close) was at above average volumes.
21RSI has closed below the 9EMA line, (indicate short tern price correction), but another indicator that I follow for medium term trend (9-34 EMAs on index and 14 RSI) is in positive zone.
RSI divergence is still continuing. CMF and MFI are some other indicators I refer to, for volume weighted confirmation of trend, both are indicating weakness. (unfortunately, tradingview does not show the volume for Nifty index, buy you may refer to investing.com or your broker provided charting portals.)
Barring bank nifty, all other sectors' indices ended in red.
Nifty Options witness quite a few Calls added at near OTM strikes, option chain is actually indicating 12050 and 12100 as strong resistance and 12000 as strong support. Trades in Nifty can be taken keeping this range in mind.
12000 and 11980 should hold, if Nifty has to move up. Dips can be bought around these levels, keeping 11970 as stop loss.
