Gold – Re-test of $1245 likely

Repeated failure to close below the sliding trend line support earlier this week followed by a rebound (bullish hammer) on Wednesday amid the rising US inflation expectations and a relatively weak dollar suggests the metal could revisit $1245 levels.

A daily close above $1245 would signal continuation of the rally from December low of $1122.
