- Bollinger bands are a way of measuring volatility in the markets
- When bollinger bands widen indicates high volatility ( markets are LOUD)
- When bollinger bands contract indicates low volatility ( markets are quiet)
- Bollinger band squeeze usually indicates a breakout may happen
- As can be seen on the chart every time the Bollinger bands contact or squeeze a decent move is made after.
