GOLD - please help me identify this in terms of Elliott Wave!

Please could someone lend me a hand and comment so I can learn?
I think I've identified a 5-3-5 correction in gold, but what the heck is the recent price action where i haven't drawn the coloured lines?!
After the lines I have drawn, I thought we had a 1, then 2, but now it looks messy?? I think I have the count wrong.
Help!
