I think I've come to really understand how the longs interact with the price. Thank you VWuelfrath for that.

This idea is a result of that. My patterns for ETC still imply that extreme volatility coming. And the longs are steadily going up whilst the price is steadily decending. Combine that with my belief that Ethereum is going up and ETC could very well explode.

My reasoning: I see it as quantitative easing. The wales and banks/institutions that are going long need to protect their asset. Right now they can't allow it to go down further because it would crash and that would be too expensive for the longs. So it should go up.
