$DDD Beats on Earnings over 1200% Increase in Volume!

Here's one that's hard to ignore with over 45mm shares traded and volume up over 1200% on average daily volume of about 4mm shares. I have an Alert set at 23.68. Probably won't take this trade today but it is on my watch list to see what happen over the next couple of days. Ideas, not investing / trading advice.

3D Systems (DDD) reported 1st Quarter March 2021 earnings of $0.17 per share on revenue of $146.1 million. The consensus earnings estimate was $0.02 per share on revenue of $136.6 million. The Earnings Whisper number was $0.03 per share. Revenue grew 8.5% on a year-over-year basis.

3D Systems Corp through its subsidiaries is engaged in providing 3D printing centric solutions, including 3D printers, print materials and cloud sourced custom parts.
