Made this overlay to see how this market plays out compared to then. This is the December 2017 peak and decline overlaid on current market. Obviously not a prediction or forecast, simply a look at possibilities.

If anyone is following, I plotted out a time frame if/when this plays out. Puts us in early June. Most interesting though is the number of bars from the LL immediately preceding all HLs during run-up to the ATH It's exactly the same. Coincidence? I find that unlikely.
