This is what I expect going into today's economic release and in the coming weeks. Of course, nothing is 100% perfect, what ever happens tonight at 9:30 pm Eastern Standard Time will not dramatically change my overall fundamntal direction of Australia:

A clear signal to buy and hold Australian Dollar and Sell the Japanese Yen. I hope it this can turn into a multi-weekly and multi-monthly swing and carry trade that I have been waiting for:

Small increase in trend employment growth in Australia (81/2016):
abs.gov.au/auss...A256B740082AA6C?OpenDocume...

This employment growth was in FULL-TIME jobs. So, this is added to the piece of the puzzle and my fundamental direction for Australia.
