What is the "Average balance in USD"?

Mean value an address holds (Market cap divided by number of addresses with a balance of tokens). The average balance is the Mean value that accounts hold in the  particular  blockchain network. Accounts averaged over a given period, usually daily or monthly. The daily or monthly average balance is calculated using multiple closing balances over the selected period of time.

What is the "Average balance in USD" important?

The average balance can indicate the level of adoption and use of this cryptocurrency. If this indicator is growing, then this may mean that users trust this crypto more and the usability of this crypto also increases.  It can indicate the possibility of further growth in the price of the cryptocurrency. A drop in average balance indicator may indicate lack of trust in cryptocurrency that often leads to decline in price.
