Triangle

Application

A simple drawing tool used to draw triangles on the chart. Typically used to highlight areas of interest. They can even be used to highlight classic chart patterns.

Style

In Style property dialog it is possible to change the appearance of a triangle drawn:

Border

You can change the color of the border as well as its thickness.

Background

Toggles the visibility of a background for the triangle. You can change the background color and opacity level.

Coordinates

In Coordinates properties dialog you can set precisely the position of the triange's three points on the price scale (by setting the price) and the time axis (by setting the bar number):

Price 1

Allows for the precise placement of the triangle's first point (Price 1) using a bar number and price.

Price 2

Allows for the precise placement of the triangle's second point (Price 2) using a bar number and price.

Price 3

Allows for the precise placement of the triangle's third point (Price 3) using a bar number and price.

Labels on the time and price scales let see the position of each point.
