Gold is holding fairly steady in the flat 2080 - 2090 after a strong rise that started back at the end of last week. Interest in the metal is quite high, which has recently increased investment in the metal as a safe-haven asset. The bullish trend may continue after the false breakdown of the nearest support, as well as after the breakdown of 2090.

Reasons for further growth:
