Wave-c (in a Zigzag) The Internal length "limit" of wave-c, in relation to wave-a, is about 161.8% of wave-a (Figure 1225, page 12-23). If the length of wave-c falls outside of the maximum Internal and External limits (see External: c-wave, Zigzags) of its relation to wave-a, then the Zigzag is Elongated and should be considered part of a Triangle. It will either be an entire leg of a Triangle or part of a complex pattern which is an entire leg of a Triangle.The c-wave could also be equal in length to wave-a, which is very common (Figure 12-30, Diagram A). Wave-c should not be less than 61.8% of wave-a, Internally. If so, it is probably due to a very small b-wave Triangle. The Zigzag is probably the entire leg of a Triangle or partof a complex correction which is the leg of a Triangle, Figure 12-30, Diagram B.
