EURJPY Short
I like trying a EURJPY short here.
Nice triple top forming.
Same reasoning as my AUDJPY and NZDJPY short plays however I have come out of them at breakeven and I think this may be a way to play out the same idea but get away from the potential of risk assets rising.
Trade idea is inflation peak, commodities are lower and seem to have peaked and this should bring down inflation expectations and yields which should help push cross jpy lower.
EURJPY sentiment and positioning is extremely long so a move in yields should be more pronounced on the pair.
I haven’t yet seen too much from lagarde about the new anti fragmentation tool and I think from what EURUSD is showing the market seems a little disappointed so this may help push the pair lower as well.
