Bitcoin Extended Consolidation

An alternative macro view on the current price action and how an extended long term consolidation might look. Most people are fixated on the original BTC cycle repeating indefinitely. I am interested in how this pattern will break, based on the fundamental scaling flaws in the technology, potentially hindering new ATH's in the near future.
