Some users asked in PM about a script that highlights the start of the week. Consequently, I decided to publish it open for anyone finding it useful.
Furthermore, I will update the script soon with more useful features and customisation options.

Thanks for this really helpful but is it possible to have a line or a dotted line as the week start instead of a highlight color. Like a vertical line for example
@Aurocks_AIF, thanks for this but something like the session breaks under appearance in chart setting. Like change the settings of the line like change it to a dotted line and transparency of the line.

Hi, This is a great script and It has come very close to my requirement. I wish to draw a horizontal line and fill with some color for the High & Low of first candle of the week. The current solution is highlighting the candle but can you also help add a small piece of code to draw a horizontal lines? Thx much in advance as this is superb work!

Thanks very much for this.
How could you modify this to work for different days of the week?
e.g. to highlight / grey out the weekend, rather than highlight Monday's?
I tried changing the 0 to different numbers in case that worked - no such luck!
cheers!

@Danny42, Hi, due to more requests in this regard, will try to add this feature during this week. Btw, concerning the highlight - it does not highlight a day, it highlights the first candle for the week regardless of timeframe. Cheers!

Thank you so much!! It's GREAT!! May I ask you any questions? How can I change its color and thickness? I'd like to change more thin and deep blue.
