Hi guys. We had an extremely unusual low level of volume today in my humble observation. The recent move might look bullish but there seems to be something eerie in the background. I hope this is not a trap. Traps are bad. Thank you for participating.

What does this indicator represent? Today’ volume is low but not that low compared to yesterday, not like zero as shown by the indicator

Today’s volume is 66.9 m and yesterday is 87m. That is what I see from other brokers. Why is it so low on tradingview’s chart?

@Emlily, My interpretation of the low volume was in relative terms based on the same chart I use every day. Of course the volume was not strictly zero but it was considerably lower than the previous days on this particular exchange. It's obvious we had hesitation yesterday that's all that I wanted to point out. Of course there are other exchanges and also the after hours activity. I actually prefer to use SPX500 more than SPY lately for my analysis purposes. I see your point and it's fair.

@Emlily, I see now the size of the bar changed in the morning. It must have been a glitch in the system. This is disappointing when we can't rely on the data authenticity.
