Dogecoin currently prints 10,000 doge each block and this will happen for as long as people mine it. 10,000 doge is not a lot in terms of dollars at current exchange rates so the hashrate put into it is relatively small. However if the exchange rate keeps growing then the block reward will become so big that every computer chip in the world and every ounce of electricity will be spent on mining it.
In other words Dogecoin would end up consuming the world if it doesn't change or gets destroyed (which probably isn't possible due to its decentralization). So brace yourselves for even bigger energy and chip shortages in the future if Dogecoin continues its exponential growth.
