@whoisthelorax, No not really! As I've come to see when charts go out of a known position or range they seam to bounce back faster especially when they have good fundamentals and sentiment in the markets and moreover it just gives smart money a chance to join the fun.
I strongly feel it might have held the support if not for the china news. Frankly am more scared of it breaking on the upside than the latter.
