Let me talk about what I just did and how I feel I failed the last few days.
I bought into xrp knowing it was going to go for a massive run around 27 cents. Then because I had so much money in the trade I kept selling when it started to pull back just a little bit, then the price would rise very fast so I bought back in higher only to sell again as soon as it went down.
I cought a couple good rides up doing this and made 22k in one night.
Then because I kept selling and trying to buy in again I lost most of the pump. Once it got past 45 cents and went straight to 55 then 65 cent I just stayed out because i was too afraid of a pull back and now I couldnt buy as much as I had before so not as much profit and would have to wait through more of a pump to get more profit.
I was losing more and more xrp as I kept trying buy and sell my way up.
So I got very upset and said im done with it for now.
Then I seen xlm was blasting off so I went into that, but that was last night when btc and xrp pulled back a good chunk and as soon as I bought into xlm it dropped from 0.18 cents to .16 and I couldnt catch the price close to where I bought and I panicked and sold and lost 10k in a 15 secs!
I feel extremely down today because of that and I feel stupid.
I am learning to watch btc as I trade these other alts because when it pumps up they go down, when it goes down fast they go down, and when it goes slowly sideways they go up.
Im also learning to STOP HAVING FOMO! and just be patient and wait for the proper pull back so I can buy from under the market not towards the top!
I keep falling for this fomo crap and buying towards the top because Im afraid to lose out.
But in my defence I have mostly over the last year done trades where its pretty much an awesome entry and made a good chunk of money.
But what just happened with xrp and xlm the last few days was different than what Ive ever done because of the speed they grew.
I wish I had just bought in at 26 cent on xrp and just sat through it all and only set a stop loss once xrp was high enough that it wouldnt matter if it got triggered while I was asleep.
I got no sleep for 3 days and kept waking up at 2 3 or 4am trying to do this and after no rest I made my big mistake last night.
I have to be grounded, think clearly, be rested and be patient for a nice re-entry. It will come!

@whereislucas, Oh my God! What you just described is me in 2017.
Everyone who has been with me for a long time knows how I started my path as a trader.
Everything went well at first, and I thought I was a trading guru. But the hype of 2017 and the beginning of 2018 made me feel the full range of emotions.
Then I had a prolonged depression, I thought, that I wouldn't be able to return to the market.
Due to constant stress, I started to have problems with overweight and much more ...
I know perfectly well how you feel! I survived it all! But it took years.
I want to give you some advice, from the heart:
1. You need rest. Sleep well!
2. Never enter a trade if you see, that the green candle has a strong growth (wait for a correction, it will definitely be)
3. Try to focus on coins, that haven't grown much yet (believe me, there are still a lot of them)
4. Never close a deal on emotions, it always threatens to lose money
5. Try to learn, develop in parallel with trading. don't use a lot of capital. forget about quick money. you can quickly lose them, but not earn while you are a beginner.

I did this too, in the beginning, looked at in parallel, but I think it's a big mistake. When you are hunting, it is preferable to choose a prey and focus on it, the others just distract you and negatively influence you most of the time.

If you want to make money, make money, if you want to do analysis, do analysis.
I believe that strict specialization is a key to success in making money.
if you only watch xrp for a week or even longer , it won't be that much fun but you will surely make more money
